You are body, soul, and spirit. You are a creation of God and not the product of random chance or evolution. You are special to Him and He wants to have a relationship with you. There's just one problem, and that is that we are sinners who deserve judgment (Romans 3:10). It doesn't matter if you try to live up to some standard of right and wrong. If it's not God's standard, it's not going to get you into heaven. His standard is holiness and we don't possess it in our own strength. We need to be made righteous so we can be with God forever. That comes from the following set of undeniable truths:

1) You cannot save yourself. No amount of works or deeds on your part will save you. Admit that you are a sinner and are under condemnation.

2) Believe on the work of Jesus Christ, God's Son, who came to Earth to live as one of us perfectly. He never sinned and voluntarily took upon Himself the sins of everybody, dying on a cruel cross. Only His pure blood can wash away your sins. You must admit that He and He alone can forgive you of all sin.

3) Confess openly that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God has raised Him from the dead. By doing so, you invite Him to be Lord of your life and your Savior (Romans 10: 9-10). He is the only way to God the Father (John 14:6).

4) Find a good, Bible-believing church and inform the pastor of what you have done. Be active in that church, read and study the Bible (we use both the King James and the New King James Versions), talk to the LORD daily, and tell someone of what the Lord has done for you. We would love to have you as a guest or member if you live in Muskogee or the surrounding area.

5) Don't wait until "a more convenient time". You have no guarantee of tomorrow. (2 Corinthians 6:2) Come to Christ today.

If you're not sure how to pray, don't worry. It's not hard nor do you have to use a lot of fancy words.

Pray something like this::

"Dear God, I confess to you that I am a sinner who deserves judgment. I cannot save myself. I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and that You raised Him from the dead. I ask Him to save me and come into my life. Forgive me of my sins. I ask that your Holy Spirit guide me and teach me about You. I will live for you from this moment on until you take me home to be with you in heaven. Thank you. In Jesus' name, Amen."
